Clear answers before care

Questions you shouldn’t have to guess about.

Start with the questions that often delay care. The full answer library covers telehealth, cost, privacy, symptoms, trauma, relationships, treatment methods, progress, and safety with direct links to federal guidance and peer-reviewed research.

How do I know if therapy is worth trying?

Therapy may be worth exploring when stress, mood, fear, anger, grief, trauma reactions, relationship patterns, sleep, or coping habits keep interfering with daily life. You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to ask for a first conversation.

Can online therapy work as well as office-based therapy?

For some needs and people, it can. A 2025 systematic review found no statistically significant difference between remote and face-to-face psychological treatment for anxiety or depression symptoms across the included trials. Clinical fit, privacy, safety, and preference still matter.

Which insurance plans are listed?

Undefeated is in network with UnitedHealthcare. Current public provider listings also include Blue Cross Blue Shield or CareFirst, Cigna or Evernorth, Aetna, and TRICARE. Coverage varies by plan, clinician, state, and service, so staff confirms your specific benefits and explains known options before scheduling.

Will I have to describe every detail of a trauma?

Not necessarily, and not all at once. Different trauma therapies work differently. Good care explains the method, prepares you, monitors distress, and helps you choose a workable pace.

What should I avoid putting in the public form?

Don’t include a diagnosis, medication list, detailed symptoms, trauma history, insurance member ID, or other private clinical information. The public form is only for arranging a follow-up and checking basic fit.
